Today, the world is shaped by the two most important factors, which are politics and media. Media, however, is sometimes included in the politics, being called a “fourth branch of power”. Both media and politics have a huge influence on each other, which is the primary reason for the current social and political events. A vivid example of this so-called symbiosis is the election (any election), where the media promotes certain politicians with certain views more than the others, while said politicians provide benefits for the media.
For me, media’s influence on politics is undoubtable. The aim of this blog, however, is not only to analyze and try to understand the ways that media uses to shape politics, but also it is to analyze the examples of it and try to understand how and why this interdependence started.
Personally, for me this issue is important because politics now shapes not only the international and internal issues of the world and every country in the world, but also the tendencies of the future development of the world. Also, as a future politician, it is important for me to understand the scale and the methods that media uses not only to shape politics, but also to control it. Another important question is who controls who? All of this needs to be analyzed and understood in order to continue development in the right way.

Very nice idea for a blog ! Politic and media two important pillar for our life in society !

Very interesting blog! I enjoyed your interpretation of how media and politics correlate. The concept of media being the “fourth branch of power”, is also a relatively new and intriguing concept.
